With three starting flights in the books, Event 9, a $250 re-entry tournament with a $250,000 guarantee and a 2014 Chrysler 300S added to the prize pool, stands at 701 entries. Registration is still open in the evening’s Flight D and the final Flight E doesn’t kick off until 7 p.m.
In addition to the $250,000 guarantee and the 2014 Chrysler 300S with a $25,000 cash option, the tournament boasts double qualifier bonuses of $3,500 for each Day 2 a player advances to after their first. The smallest of the advancing stacks is forfeited and the player who forfeits the most chips pockets a $10,000 WSOP Main Event seat and $2,000 cash. The players who forfeit the second and third most chips meanwhile, earn $5,000 cash.
Remember, Day 1s pay 10 percent of the field while playing down to 4 percent.
