Event #3 $500 PLO (three $2,000 CPC Main Event seats added)
Event 3 of the 2015 Chicago Poker Classic, tonight’s 5 p.m. $500 PLO tournament, drew 165 players generating a $69,795 prize pool. In addition to their share of the cash prize pool, the top three finishers earn a seat in the $2,000 CPC Main Event — an added incentive put up by the Horseshoe. The tournament’s eventual champion, meanwhile, complements his or her seat with the lion’s share of the prize pool, an $18,496 first prize.

Notable players still alive include Chicago pros Kevin Saul and Chris Karambinis as well as Ohio’s Sean Troha who, in October of last year, earned Casino Champion honors of the Horseshoe’s World Series of Poker Circuit event.
Day 1 of Event 3 is set to wrap at the 10-handed final table or at the conclusion of Level 18, whichever comes first. Day 2 resumes tomorrow at 2 p.m and full chip counts will be posted prior to the restart.
