Scott Ward of Kalamazoo, Mich. holds more than 25 percent of the chips in play nine-handed in Event 6.

Following just over an hour of Day 2 play, the 16-player restart in Event 6, a $400 OE tournament, is down to nine players and consolidated to the unofficial final table. While the start-of-day chip leader Keith Cornell and World Series of Poker bracelet winner Chris Tryba have fallen claiming 65,000 and 64,000 chips respectively, Scott Ward (pictured) is headed the other way. Ward, who began day holding just 96,000, now claims 350,000 — more than 25 percent of the total chips in play — and leads the final nine players.
