Event #9 $250 NLH with $200,000 guarantee (Lexus IS 350, $10,000 WSOP Main Event seat and $8,000 cash added)
Registration is closed in the ninth of 10 numbered events on the 2015 Chicago Poker Classic Schedule, a $250 NLH tournament with a 2015 Lexus IS 350, $10,000 WSOP Main Event seat and $8,000 in cash added. Over the course of five starting flights, the tournament drew a super-sized field of 1,658 players shattering the $200,000 guarantee.
The main draw of the event came in the form of the 2015 Lexus added to the prize pool care of the Horseshoe. The car features a $49,547 sticker price and carries a $25,000 cash option. Other incentives include a $2,000 double qualifier bonus paid out for each Day 2 a player makes after their first. Additionally, any player that makes Day 2 multiple times surrenders the smaller of their stacks and the players who surrender the first, second and third most chips earn a $10,000 WSOP Main Event seat and $5,000 and $3,000 cash prizes respectively.
Full prize pool information will be posted in the morning after the double qualifier bonuses have been paid out. In the mean time, here’s a look at how the five starting flights broke down:
