Players have taken their seats and cards are in the air for the final playing session of the $2,000 Chicago Poker Classic Main Event. The tournament began Friday with 687 hopefuls generating a $1,220,112 prize pool. The top 63 finishers earned prize money but the field now sits at just nine remaining with defending champion Eddie Ochana (left) and Chicagoan Chris Karambinis (right) headlining the action.

Each player has locked up $26,318 with the tournament’s champion earning $274,595 and a $10,000 seat in the World Series of Poker Main Event. Here’s a closer look at where we stand at the final table:
