The 2016 Mustang GT added to Event #11.

The 2016 Chicago Poker Classic opened its doors at the Horseshoe Hammond at noon Thursday for the first event on a 13-event schedule. Event #1 features six starting flights with nine CPC Main Event seats added to the prizepool.

The Horseshoe added over $450,000 in value to the overall prizepools, including CPC Main Event seats to numbered preliminary events, five total $10,000 World Series of Poker Main Event seats and shiny red 2016 Ford Mustang GT that’s parked in the middle of the tournament room.

Each day during the Series nightly, daily and early bird tournaments run alongside mega-satellites.

2016 Chicago Poker Classic Overview

  • Event 1 – $360 No Limit Hold’em – 6 starting flights on Thur, Fri & Sat at noon & 5pm – 9 CPC Main Event Seats Added
  • Event 2 – $360 Deep Stack NLH – Sunday at noon – 3 CPC ME Seats Added
  • Event 3 – $400 Pot Limit Omaha – Sunday 5 pm – 3 CPC ME Seats Added
  • Event 4 – $250 No Limit Hold’em – Monday at noon – 3 CPC ME Seats Added
  • Event 5 – $400 H.2.O. (Hold’em, Deuce to Seven Triple Draw, Omaha HiLo) – 5 pm – 6 CPC ME Seats Added
  • Event 6 – $360 Deep Stack NLH – Tuesday at noon – 3 CPC ME Seats Added
  • Event 7 – $400 Omaha HiLo & Seven Card Stud HiLO – Tuesday 5 pm – 6 CPC ME Seats Added
  • Event 8 – $600 Mega Deep Stack Six Max NLH – Wednesday at noon – 6 CPC ME Seats Added
  • Event 9 – $250 Deep Stack Turbo NLH – Thursday at noon – 3 CPC ME Seats Added
  • Event 10 – $2,000 CPC Main Event – Friday & Saturday at noon – 3 WSOP ME Seats
  • Event 11 – $250 No Limit Hold’em – Saturday: 3 pm & 6 pm, Sunday: Noon, 3pm & 6pm – 2016 Mustang GT Added and one WSOP ME Seat
  • Event 12 – $360 Mega Deep Stack Turbo NLH – Monday at noon – one WSOP ME Seat Added
