Damian Radanov took down the PLO event after back and forth heads up match.

Event 3: $400 Pot Limit Omaha returned on Monday with ten players remaining of the 170 that entered. Damian Radanov entered the final table as chip leader, and outside a couple hands during heads-up play was the wire-to-wire chip leader. Radanov played Brian McDaniel for four levels before clutching the win and $15,234.

“I’m excited to win the event, Brian (McDaniel) was a very tough opponent,” Radanov said. “I didn’t think it was over until the last hand.”

“I was hoping to finish the final table a little quicker so I could really play the H.2.O event,” Radanov continued. “I bought a stack and it mostly blinded off, but I’m happy with the win here today.

The table went from ten players to four relatively quickly, but then the action slowed as the stacks deepened. After Howard Simon busted in fourth place Radanov’s chip lead nearly disappeared and it could have been anyone’s game – but Orlando Romero lost his final hand to Radanov.
