Event #1 Flights C and D Today, All Chasing Scott Bohlman

The first day of the 2017 Chicago Poker Classic drew 376 entries in two starting flights for Event #1: $360 NLH with six CPC Main Event seats added. Of those runners, 12 earned a minimum payout of $800 while 29 bagged chips for Day 2.

The top 5 stacks to chase from Flights A and B include:
1 – Scott Bohlman (377,500)
2 – Musa Taher (298,500)
3 – John Richards (261,000)
4 – David Plotkin (203,000)
5 – Joe Batterman (193,000)

There are still four more flights for Event #1: Flights C and D today, March 3 at 12pm and 5pm, respectively, and Flights E and F tomorrow, March 4 at 12pm and 5pm. Players who bag chips on Day 1 will combine and return Sunday, March 5 @ 12pm for Day 2.

Flights C and D will follow the same guidelines as yesterday’s flights. Here are the details:

  • 10,000 starting chips
  • 30 minute levels on Day 1, 40 minute levels on Day 2
  • Unlimited re-entry until the start of level 7
  • May play multiple Day 1’s, best stack forward
  • Each Day 1 flight will play down to 8% of the field
  • Players eliminated in top 11%-8% will receive $800 for a min-cash
  • Added CPC Main Event seats non-transferable
