Keith Thurman Takes Chip Lead from Victor Gitterle Heads Up in Event #4

A few hands into heads-up play, Victor Gitterle raised to 200,000 on the button and Keith Thurman called in the big blind. The flop came 7s 2h 2d and Thurman checked. Gitterle bet 200,000 and Thurman called.

They both checked the 9s turn, and on the 9c river, Thurman checked, Gitterle bet 400,000, and Thurman called. Thurman showed Qh 7d for two pair, sevens and nines, and it was good. In the few hands since Nick Jivkov busted out, Thurman and Gitterle have flip-flopped stack sizes.

Keith Thurman – 3,800,000
Victor Gitterle – 2,120,000
